Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)

The ability to function and live independently as an adult is an important goal we work towards for every child with special needs. We along with other therapists work with children for the implementation of basic social skills that children will utilize in their everyday life. We work with parents to develop a customized plan to ensure that children will be able to vocalize, express and communicate depending on their current level of ability. Individual goals and objectives are discussed with the parents depending on their situation and available resources. Basic reading and writing skills are worked with a team of experts from Nivritti, a Bodhi Valley special education initiative based in Hyderabad.
